    Transferring files through FTP through Windows Explorer.
  • Details
    When transferring files through FTP in Windows Explorer interface, you may receive the following error if you loose your user credentials during the file transfer process.

    FTP Folder Error
    ---------------------------
    An error occurred copying a file to the FTP Server. Make sure you have permission to put files on the server.
    Details:
    200 Type set to I.
    227 Entering Passive Mode (98,130,0,191,21,166).
    550 Admin_Email.asp: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

  • Recreate Issue
    Transferring a lot files through an FTP window will sometimes cause it to loose your user credentials, and the error above will appear letting you know that there is an error/issue in the process.
  • Resolve Issue
    To correct this error and to continue transferring files through your FTP account.

    Right Click in the FTP Explorer Window
    And choose [Login As]
    And re-login to the FTP Site

    This should clear up the issue so that you can continue to transfer files.
