    Error Message: The service cannot accept control messages at this time
  • Recreate Issue
    To reproduce this issue:

    Scenario #1:
    The [Credential Manger] is set to [Manual] and needs to be [Automatic]
  • Resolve Issue
    To resolve this issue:

    Open [Services]
    Then Open [Credential Manager]
    Change [Startup Type:] from [Manual] to [Automatic]
    Click [Apply] then [OK]
    Next (Still in Services)
    Right Click on [Credential Manager]
    Choose [Restart]
    This will take a little while.
    Once it is completed, you should now be able to open [Credential Manager]
