    When you install certain programs, you may run into issues where you no longer have access to your IIS Web Sites. In the case like we have here.

    The page you are trying to access is secured with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
  • Recreate Issue
    To recreate this issue:

    Scenario #1:
    Installing Microsoft Exchange Server, set the Default IIS site to use a SSL.
  • Resolve Issue
    To resolve this issue:

    Scenario #1:
    Open IIS (Internet Information Services)
    Click on the [+] beside the [Server Name]
    Click on the [+] beside the [Web Sites] Folder
    Right Click on the [Default Web Site]
    (or the website that you are currently having the issue with)
    Click on [Properties]
    Click on the [Directory Security] Tab
    At the bottom, click on [Edit]
    At the top, uncheck [Require secure channel (SSL)]
    Click [OK]
    Then [Apply]
    Then [OK]

    Run your web site as normal, and everything should be back in working order.
