    When you render our your project within Adobe After Effects, you might experience the following error. Make sure all files are available when you render out your project.

    If the file that you are working with, suddenly is not longer available, or becomes corrupt, you may receive the following error during rendering.

  • Recreate Issue
    To recreate this issue:

    During the save process, delete or overwrite the media that you used in your project, with the file missing, you will get this error.
  • Resolve Issue

    #1: If you are using an AVI or other type of media file within your project, make sure you do not try to overwrite the file with the saved project file, make sure that they are named differently.

    #2: Make sure that all project files are in the directories that are listed within your project. It is always good practice, to keep the project file within the main or sub-folders. This make for easier organization, and cuts down on render related issues and mishaps.
