    When you create a new email account under your Google Apps account for your domain, the user may encounter issues with login to the account while using 3rd party email programs such as outlook express.
  • Details
    When a Email account is created inside of Google Apps, and the user does not login to the account, but there is activity on the account that send emails out, this can cause the account to become suspended.

     
    The cause of this, is for security on Google's side.
    If the user does not login to the web interface, but has a lot of emails sent outgoing, it looks like potential abuse/spam.
    So, having the user to login to the web interface account, lets the system know that it is a real account, and not created for abuse purposes.
  • Recreate Issue
    To recreate this issue.

    Create a new account in your domains Google Apps account.
    Do not login with the new account.
    Set the account up to send out emails only, not to receive.
    After this is done a few times in a high volume, the account with be put under suspension.
  • Resolve Issue
    To Resolve this issue.

    Create a new account in your domains Google Apps account.
    Login to the account through the Google Apps page or Gmail.com.
    This will reactivate the account, and remove the Suspended mark on the account.
