    When editing audio samples in Adobe Audition, you may hear popping sounds in your speaker when using the ASIO4ALL Audio Driver.

    During Playback inside of Adobe Audition using the ASIO4ALL Audio Driver, you may hear pops and snaps in your speaker.

    This could be caused by the Sound Card not supporting ASIO4ALL drivers.
  • Recreate Issue
    To recreate this issue

    Click on [Edit]
    Choose [Audio Hardware Setup]
    Change the Audio Driver to [ASIO4ALL]
  • Resolve Issue
    To resolve this issue

    Click on [Edit]
    Choose [Audio Hardware Setup]
    Change the Audio Driver to [Audition 3.0 Windows Sound]

    This will set the Audio driver to your default driver, and you should then be able to continue editing your audio without the popping noises in your speakers.
