Issue Details
When connecting to a network share from a Windows 7 system, you may lose connection to the share, and it's really noticeable when playing shared music or video.
Recreate Issue
When listening to music or watching a video from a shared folder location on your network through a Windows 7 computer, you may experiance this issue.
Resolve Issue
  1. From [Start[/b]
  2. [Control Panel]
  3. [Administrative Tools]
  4. [Local Security Policy]
    5. When the [Local Security Policy]window opens, navigate to the following location
  5. [Local Polocies[/b]
  6. [Security Options[/b]
  7. Local the [Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level[/b]
    8. Open its property page up, select from the dropdown list
  8. [Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated[/b]
    9. You may have to reboot your computer for the settings to take effect.
