Issue DetailsWhen you click [Network] in the Windows 7 Start menu, Windows Explorer connects to all available networked computers. This list may take up to a minute to generate as it resolves all possible addresses across your LAN.
Once all computer are loaded, you will be able to click on each one and view its available shares. If, for some reason, a share is not currently available on a computer that appears in your Network, you will get the following error.
Windows cannot access \\MACHINE-NAME\
Check the spelling of the name, Otherwise, there might be a problem with your Network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose.

The network path was not found.
Resolve IssueTo correct this error and allow the Windows 7 machine to access all available shares, make sure that the target machine's administrator allows shares on the system.
There is no other way around this error.
